A Celtic Tea: Harp Songs of the British Isles

March 3, 2018 | 2:30 pm-4:00 pm

The Infusion Cafe is pleased to present A CELTIC TEA... HARP SONGS OF THE BRITISH ISLES with special guest, classical harpist, Sarah Claire Williams.

Sarah Claire Williams can be found playing her harp in places like an aviary, botanical gardens, a major league baseball stadium, sculpture gardens, art galleries, museums and in theatres. She has played harp in ensembles, including the three member Trillium Harp Ensemble which appeared at the Bethlehem Musikfest and in the Summer Solstice at The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia... and The Infusion Cafe!

In 2016 Ms Williams added The Infusion Cafe to the illustrious list of venues in which she has performed.

We are pleased to bring her back to perform for you again as part of our 2018 tea event season.

Join us for a formal tea time featuring two courses of Irish tea, three courses of formal Irish tea fare, and Celtic harp-songs played by harpist, Ms. Williams.

Ms. Williams will transport us through her music to those famous green islands of legend, to a time gone bye. Lilting, lush and lovely Irish and Scot folk songs. Romantic and epic, soft and sweet... harp songs.

A wonderful, formal, afternoon tea tradition. A most memorable tea experience; and an elegant way to honor special people in your life.

Mark Twain once said, "A Southerner talks music." If this is true, Coastline speaks in volumes. An eclectic blend of soul, blues, and rock has produced the sound known as Coastline. From hard driving Carolina back beats, to Georgia southern rock, from Cajun inspired grooves, to Texas and Delta blues; Coastline truly defines the sound of historical Southern music. With finesse, the pure forms of southern music are transformed into a modern contemporary art form.
